Our mission
MyRoom exists so Penang property owners can let their units room by room without the daily headache of tenant WhatsApps, cleaning schedules, or rent-chasing. We do one thing exceptionally well: room-by-room rental management for the Penang market — from Bayan Lepas factory-worker corridors to George Town professional zones.
How we started
Founded in 2022 by Tan Li Ming, MyRoom began with a single co-living unit in Bayan Lepas. Today it manages 200+ rooms across 50+ units in Penang — 85% average portfolio occupancy (January–June 2026). Room-rental and co-living management is what MyRoom does; sister brands cover the other models — rental-ready renovation in Penang by MyReno and whole-unit rental management by MyLoft.
